i am so depressed. i dd my supra and i feel like its slowly falling apart on me. anyways, on topic, when i first start the car, steering is hard. the car squeaks like all hell when turning, but after a couple minutes of turning the wheel, its back to normal again. But (this is the second week its been doing it) now, it takes longer (maybe like 3-4min) for the steering to turn back to normal. i checked my power steering reservoir thing, and its full. any suggestions?

thanks a bajillion

This somewhat happens to me every morning. I turn the car on, it makes a weird sound, and then I get power steering. But I always let the car warm up a bit before I move, so after the first few seconds without the steering I don't have a problem.

edit-I do get a random bad squeal sometimes. I think it's just the belts are cold as fuck.

Doesn't matter if they're cold, squeel is from slipping, slipping is from a worn out belt or from not being tightened properly. It's NOT normal.

Yep, squealing is from improper tension and worn out dry cracked belts.. Replace them

I'll give them a look when it isn't Balls degrees outside.
