Speedo signal for 2j swap

I'm in need of some help with this wiring.

Basic setup:
7m body and body harness, 2jz, 2jz wiring harness, AEM EMS2 (plug and play for 2jz) so basically the same as a 2jz ECU for wiring purposes.

I’m in the final stages of wiring a 2jz into my 7M and I’ve run into a wiring question. I’ve done a bit of searching and have been to Supras.nl and all that but I’m either reading the answer and not comprehending it or it’s not all there. It’s regarding the addition of the speed sensor wire or VSS and supplying the ECU with a signal.

What I think needs to happen is I need to run a wire from the MA70 C10 connector Pin 6 which is the speed signal output from the combo meter to the 2JZ II1 connector pin 11 which is SP1 signal, from odo trip meter to the ECU (pink wire).

Also I think you can use the sensor in the ABS too since the pulse should be configurable in the AEM EMS. Has anyone done it this way?

Can someone let me know if this is correct or what is correct if this isn't it?

Wow, hello, good to see this. You are just finishing the same process I just went through with exactly the same configuration.

I am also running a swapped 2jz with the new AEM series 2 box.

After much research and such I came to the conclusion that the best place to get this signal from was actually behind the dash from the guage cluster. If I remember correctly it's pink.

Would love to know some more about your build. Do you go with the stock twins or big single and if so which one?

The ABS sensor is neither recommended nor as ideal apparently (although I can't say I have tried it). To be honest actually the snow hit just as I finished this wiring portion and havn't been able to see if I got it right.

Keep in touch man, your the only other one I am aware of personally running the swap and series 2 setups that we are.

The car actually belongs my buddy I've been helping him with the swap and doing all the wiring for him. His car is gonna be sick. He's put sooooo much money into it. Just a short list of his setup from what I remember.
