Speedo Cables

Are all the speedo cables the same for Auto, 5spd, N/A & Turbo? I ask because my 89T was originally an Auto but was converted to Manual and I have no speeometer - only RPM. Maybe its not hooked or it could be broken?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes. The only difference if for rhd and lhd.

I know the long cables are the same all throughout, the short cables may have difference as i think the speedo cable hole locations are different throughout the transmissions, as well as the little elbow that threads onto the transmission housing for the cable..

The short cable is different and the auto has the elbow.
