When he was saying speed senor, I was wondering how it tore up as I've never heard on the speed sensor in the cluster messing up. I think he's a little confused. Your speedo is working. Your problem lies elswhere. Check you transmission codes.

I believe the A/T cars have 2 speed sensors, 1 in the speedometer and one in the ABS sensor.

If your speedometer is working, chances are it's the rear ABS sensor on the tranny.

Take a read through the TSRM, it'll probably help, as it has diagnostics in there.

The #2 speed sensor is on the tranny...drivers side.

The #1 Speed Sensor is in the speedo itself.

Question,

If the ABS is not hooked up, will/should the car throw a code for the speed sensor as well as the ABS light?

If the answer is yes, it would answer another question I've been wondering about.
