cool thanks for the info, gonna check mines out tomorrow, also one question i need to know, is the block of the 7m iron or aluminum? reason asked is cause, i did some searching and people say to resurface the block, i was planning to do the head since i know those are aluminum, i have done plenty of rebuild on cars and never had to do resurface on the block and use MHG and never had a problem, but why with the supra? unless its aluminum, also i dont have a BHG, im replacing mine so that way i know i wont get one in the future and replacing all of the gaskets since every thing is apart.

The block is iron. The reason you have to machine both the block and head isn't merited by the type of metal. It's to meet the minimum RA (roughness) spec of whatever MHG you use. Each MHG manufacturer has their own requirements. If those requirements aren't met, the gasket will not perform. If it doesn't perform....well....you know. ;)

While you're at it, ARP's are a very worthy upgrade. I prefer studs over bolts; but, that's just me.
