I'm not much of an audiophile but I am installing a head unit and new speakers this winter into my 1991 Supra and I'm thinking of getting a 5 channel amp to run my speakers off of. The deck I ordered is a Kenwood KDC-BT858U, the speakers I'm getting are 6.5" Infinity reference fronts and 5.25" for the rears. The sub I have is an old Sony Xplode 12" sub (350W RMS).

My question is, when you wire in the front and rear speakers to an amp, do you run all new speaker wire to each speaker individually, or would you just tie in behind the head unit and run four runs of speaker wire from behind the head unit to the amp in the trunk? I just cringe thinking of fishing speaker wire into the front doors. The rears would probably be easy to tie directly into.

Thoughts?
