Sound of rushing air behind dash???

I replaced my old IC pipes recently and have had nothing but problems since. My lower line ruptured, so i ended up using some spare pieces of a universal kit i got from a friend and some of the old piping coupled together. Earlier today i went into boost (Very little probably around ~4lbs) and i heard a *pop* from my engine bay. I got out and checked my lines and i don't think any of my pipes broke loose. I've gotten very good at checking because it has happened alot recently lol. Now when i go into boost, i have a serious lack of power as if all of the pressurized air is escaping from somewhere, and a loud SHHHHHUHSHSHSHHHHH noise from behind the dash. My best way to describe it would be... open your mouth with your teeth together, and exhale as hard and fast as you can. I hear that exact noise, but imagine it at the same pressure as my IC pipes, and the entire time i'm in boost. WTH is going on? Boost leak?:: angry ::

Ninja edit: My idle is steady, and usually when my piping is off/loose/broken it jumps around and idles like shet.

It is a small boost leak, probably a crack in a coupling, especially if you heard a POP when it happened. It's happened to me a hundred times, and I have found the common culprit spots, but go through and pull on each connection and then see if that doesnt fix the problem. Also, the car will still idle fine if its just a small crack and that would explain why it is letting build a little boost.

The usual spots for mine are the coupling right above the turbo(underneath, turbo side), the coupling next to the AFM, and the coupling coming directly off the turbo.

I decided to use my brain and clear the ecu, then pull my codes again. 24 and 31 are gone. 34 remains, which is the boost leak. I'm about to go pull intercooler lines from a junkyard. I think the stock lines will be better than my current half 2.5" SS, half coupler/old piping clusterfuck.
