Sound Deadening under rear seat!?!?!

how do i get that hard shit off? i've searched but cannot find a good answer i read it somewhere a couple weeks ago before i had the seats out and now i seem to have forgotten.

Chisel + hammer + all afternoon. Just about the entire underside (under the carpet that is) is coated in that sound deadening crap.

The weight you lose, isn't worth the sound you gain. Trust me.

I used to be completely stripped. F-in nothing on the inside of my car.

I have been slowly peicing the car back together having to buy interior parts all over again. It was not worth it.

im keeping all of my interior pieces stored, but am taking it out to clean it all up, find all my leaks, rhinoline it all, and possibly cage it, this is going to be a race vehicle and i will hopefully find somethin to beat the shit out of this winter.

As far as I've seen, the sound deadener on supras is far easier to remove than most cars out there.

Rubber mallet and a scraper/putty knife.

The backseat area was easy for me. I just hit the floor with the mallet and most of it came up that way... large pieces, which made me happy.. because it does suck to remove that crap.
