will a 87 tailight failure box work on a 89 ? what color is it for a 89 white or yellow.. on the driver side i cant put my passenger side window up but i can put it down and on the passenger side i cant put the window down but if u press the switch hard enough it will go up motor going out or the regulator ?

There are three sensors.
From the EPC
89373-32120 is the 86-92 non-turbo sensor
89373-14050 is the -88 turbo sensor
89373-14070 is the 89+ turbo sensor
What works depends not on the year, but what you have for a center brake light.

You can take a look at the sensor. Just take the one panel off that pops right off in the rear of the car(to change the bulbs for the tail lights). You should be able to see what color it is. Also I might say that your switch is bad for the window. I just replaced mine
