Went to englishtown tonight.

Previous best was 16.0 @ 85mph
Tonight's best was 14.8@ 97mph

Changes made to the car :
BIC DP replacing stock elbow and dP.
RSR GTII cat back replacing worse than stock 1.75" wrinkle bend exhaust.
Swapped stock 3.73's for 4.30's.

still running stock cat. (hurry up FedEx)

Also boost went from mid 6's to 8+

I think with that trap speed I should be making enough power to get into the high 13's . But my rear brakes are so weak that my tires started to spin at anything over 1800 rpm. Any opinions ?

60' times? what kind of tires? what are you launching at?
Best 60' was 2.2, not great . I had a 98 LS1 stock that did 1.7.

Tires are yokohamas advan S4's 265/35/18.
Not a drag tire I know but tracion has not been a problem yet.
I need to be able to bring the boost up more at the line.
I'm thinking better brakes and higher stall and then tires might become an issue

I have a 92 turbo/auto. I did 15.6 completely stock at the last englishtown meet. I'm hoping to improve on that number when I put all the goodies in. :naughty:

Auto right? You need to hold your e-brake on also. Then you need to buy a higher stall converter from me and drop about 3/4 of a second off your 1/4 mile time!

What the hell did I tell ya....once you go down that track, and find out how easy it is you gotta go again. Wow 2 seconds and you only did a few minor mods. Wait until you get the need for a larger turbo.:naughty:
