So after doing the compression test on the engine and finding a couple dead cylinders im planning on just doing a complete rebuild seeing as how i wanted to build the engine anyways.
Ive been doing some research on pistons, rods, rings, bearings, valves/springs, cams, and the such prices are all about the same but I'm looking for the tried and true and obviously looking for the tried and true. Im looking to shoot for around 450 -550 see where i can get.
Ive been looking at cp pistons and je pistons (cant make up my mind), bc rods, bc 264 cams, im not sure on the injector size or brand. I'm looking at going with aem for the computer, I have a t4 turbo manifold, divorced dp, custom intake manifold, gt35 turbo. I'm planning on porting and polishing the head for better flow. i know I don't have everything that I'm going to need listed.
I'm going to rebuild the engine and use the stock injectors computer so that it will fire up without any problems the i will play with the aem and tune it.
give me some advice and idea from those who have completed their builds.
