stock pcv didn't have a breather on it.

Of course it didn't. It was routed back into the engine, which is the best place to put air saturated with hydrocarbons.

this was my thought too. why not leave it hooked up to the throttle body for vacuum and vent it to the air instead of putting itthrough the turbo?
