1987, rebuilt engine with cometic, 3" pipe, boost control valve set at 9 -10 etc. basically stock.
At no load about 2k t0 2400 rpm slight "burble" or sputter is heard through the exhaust. Never a hesitation or a mis-fire under load. I first noticed it when it was being emission tested. It passed as running clean with very minimal deviation from standard.
Any thoughts? Would a leaky (internal) injector cause such a senario? Is there a quick way to check the injectors?
