RSVPs for this year's Supras Invade Las Vegas event are rolling in. We are up to 140 total RSVPs. Only 5 of those are non-Supras and 7 of the remaining 135 are planning to fly in leaving 128 actual Supras RSVPd. We are well on our way to having more than 200 Supras in Las Vegas again this year.
Last year we had 64 MkIIIs at the Show-and-Shine - with still more left in the parking garage. That brings me to the point of this thread.
What is the dealio with the Show-and-Shine. Nearly 1/4 of the current MkIII RSVPs opt'd to NOT select that they were planning to participate in the Show-and-Shine (ten). What's up with that? Nine out of the ten say they will join us for the drive but three of them say they are ONLY coming out for the Scenic Drive!
To those 10, please note that this is not your typical concourse style Show-and-Shine. This activity is a Show of Force for the Supra community. Nowhere else on the planet will you find as many Supras gathered in a single place at the same time.
Sure, our Show-and-Shine attracts some of the hottest Show Quality Supras you will find anywhere on the planet but if we only catered to those cars we would have a very boring show. Our Show-and-Shine parks Show Supras alongside full blown race Supras, Daily Driver Supras, and Works in Progress Supras.
I hope you will reconsider your choice and join us at this year's Show-and-Shine (please note that we will not hold you to your RSVP. You are welcome to participate in activities that you did not select just like you are welcome to skip activities that you selected).
Come share the afternoon with us no matter what condition your Supra is in. Someone may get the next BIG idea from checking out your ride at the Show-and-Shine and you will be part of history in the making as we reach the next level of 200 Supras at the Show-and-Shine.
