Silent Hill... the movie

Would like to see the trailer tho.

Anyway, I always liked the games... so dark and creepy and the music was always great... can't believe they made a movie out of it tho.

I really liked Silent Hill, one of my favorite games, the movie had better be good. The trailer looks good. Either way I know I'll end up going to see it.

It's like a horror adventure/puzzle game. It's really great for it's creepy settings. They really get the pop-out scenes right, and some of the rooms will make your skin crawl. If you like to be scared, Silent Hill can do you pretty well.

and the music in the game is pretty awesome too!
the puzzles drive me nuts sometimes... good that there are walk-thrus, lol.

i still have 'the room' lying around somewhere.

silent hill, is good for makin your skin crawl ive played them all, but you want a game that will make the hair on your ass crawl. F.E.A.R. even with the lights on and my bro in the room, me and him were jump and screamin like little girls. the game is rediculus.
as for this movie. i would wait till DVD

That F.E.A.R. game does look creepy as hell, but I can't see spending the cash to get my computer were it will be able to play that with all of the goodies turned on - most games I play are well more than a year old. Doom 3 does a good job at scaring you with pop-outs, but the whole game is so dark that it gets ridiculous; you can't see anything! I tried to tweak my video card settings to turn up the gamma and brighgtness, and turned up my monitor's as well - no dice! I read that the game is meant to be that dark, and you can't "fix" it. I don't know how in the hell you are supposed to play it, but the times when you CAN see, and all hell is breaking loose, it can really raise the hair on the back of your neck, especially with a good surround sound system.

^^ if you can play doom 3 then, fear will run on your system, just get the SP demo and see how it runs. it does a good job of scaring the crap out of you.
