might not have had the correct verification of how or why it would have happened but according to the op it was the cause of the problem.
Now for my own well being and for future reference, what would cause that to happen to an alt? I have had them seize up before but never cause a no start. Sometimes slow crank due to internals dragging but nothing like this thread has stated.
