I hate snakes. I hate rats too.
All of the mice and rats could die as far as I am concerned. Seriously I hate the bastards. If I see a rat, its dead. I once chased a rat around my grandma's backyard with a stick until I killed the little faawker.

Snakes can smell musty if you scare them, but I've never heard of someone smelling a snake before they even see it. She may want to check Guiness for the best snout on a human.
Also a six foot copperhead would be near if not a world record. They generally only get about three feet long. I'm not saying you didn't see one that big, it's just that they are very rare. I love the colors of a copperhead. I like all snakes though and wouldn't kill one unless last case scenario. My brother and I used to catch chicken snakes , (rat snakes) and we had a cage 4' x 4' x 8'. Anyways our friends would go to WalMart and buy rats just to watch them eat it. I had a six footer that would bite them right out of my hand. Sorry for the long post.................lol

LOL, well i prolly was off, but it was big, couldnt really tell cause he wasnt stretched out.

Yeah I agree with it being hard to tell how big they are. They always look bigger when their close up. It's like a good fishing story. They always get bigger as the story progresses. Most of them here in Alabama are probably as big around as a golfball. Pretty close I guess. Maybe the size of a big tube of toothpaste. I haven't seen one in a while though. I just hope the next one I see, I see him first..............lol
