shim plates and buckets

yeah iv'e got a realy bad valve knock its present around 1500-3000rpm im not sure but to get rid of the bad tick from the topend. Do you get new shim plates or buckets where the shim plates go :1zhelp: Basicly wat im trying to say how do u adjust the dum as buckets-aka lifters

First, don't mistake a rod "knock" for a valve "tick", especially at that RPM range. Do a search on Rod Knock.

yeah i did the stethiscope test its my head the shim plates are what i need . Do i have to go to toyota directly for them if yeah then my problem is solved oh yeah does anyone want flat black sawblades. There painted over i will give them up for an easy 20$ whoever lives in the dallas fortworth area. theres only two of them if yall don't want them its w/e :evil2:
