Shift lock switch???

It may be a stupid question but on my n/a 87 auto, there is no shift lock switch. I have searched but couldn't find anything about it. Im just wondering about it. Im not sure that it is because of the earlier models or my car just dont have one :aigo:

wat u mean, like MY CAR had it switch removed or its the model that doesnt have one. I cant find any where that there WAS a button that area. I was just wondering and thought it was weird -.-

Its an unlabeled/labeled button in the top right of the base of the automatic shifter, or at least it should be there...

Seems like the older ones had a small plastic cover that was flush with the shifter console. You pull the cover and push the lock.
