Hello all I have a 91 MKlll and with the age of these cars stuff are starting to wear and tear. The seat belts on my car are not really locking up when I apply sudden impact to them and finding new oem belt is a pain and I bet dumb expensive. Has anyone found any aftermarket seat belt or from another car that can work on our cars? I am trying to avoid racing harness since they are meant for bucket seats not folding seats. I feel like buying another used set from another car will just result in failure over time due to the age of these belts especially with so many of these MK3 not being cared for in general.

Hey Dat, welcome back! I looked into this myself awhile back. Theres a company that rebuilds OEM seat belts. I haven't been able to test them out yet but it's definitely in the plans.

Let us know how it goes if you try them out
