San Antonio - Repair shop recommendations

My son recently moved to San Antonio and needs some engine work done on his 1999 4Runner. Any recommendations on a good shop. He is in the I10 and 1604 area?

What kind of work? Japanese engine repair. Use to do my work for me. They also have used engines tranny. But They are under new ownership.

i have a wrench or two....i need money :biglaugh:

duffin does good machining and engine rebuilds but they dont do simple repairs.

Sorry for not providing better details, I do not believe it needs major work, it probably just needs a tune up.

Oh I thought you needed machine work.
Well I dont usually go to a shop if I need just a tune up so idk.
I'm pretty sure one of the guys on here could help you out

these people are legit but can be pricey.

if you want plugs/wires/brakes/checking belts or replacing belts/ all fluid changes, i can do all of this work and i would be happy to let him work with me if he wants. Find out what they do for a tune up and find out the cost and i will do it for less at my house.

If you still want to use a shop they are a good one.
