Okay got my SAFCII installed and drove my car to the shop to repair my oil pan gasket went to check into a stall and took the key out and... the car turned off....!!!! I have a mini turbo timer and it no longer works.. anyone ever had similar symptoms w/ the SAFCII and turbo timers? I haven't gotten my car back home to snoop around on my own so figured I'd throw this out there in the mean time.

Correlation /= causation.

Your S-AFC shouldn't have any wires that are even remotely close to your turbo timer. They wire into completely separate harnesses. AFC into the ECU harness. TT into the ignition harness.

The only possible crossover would be an RPM signal for your TT (You didn't specify what brand/model you have).

Other than that, it's either a coincidence, or you disturbed the TT wiring while doing your AFC installation.

to the last comment.. yes its on. to the other comments. none of the wires are even remotly close. and i can't even fathom how they could interfere w/ each other.. but it seems related. And I didn't/couldn't have disturbed any of the wires as the TT is wired on the drivers side and the SAFC is in the glove box and ECU. and its a "Mini TT" some generic brand w/ no more then 3 wires. Thanks for the input guys.. just confirming what i though (they're not related) just checking incase anyone had something similar. I haven't had the chance to play w/ the SAFC yet so was just checking.. once again thanks.
