Ok, so over the winter i put a electric fan on my 88 turbo. I now know it is not a good idea because it is running a bit warmer (summer time) so i put my stock fan back on. So here is my question....if i want to run a electric fan or fans what is the best route?? I know stock is best from what i understand but does anyone have a setup they have been running for all seasons that has worked fine?? flame suite is on for not wanting to use stock clutch fan!!! lol

thanks,
brandon

Whats wrong with the stock clutch fan?

There is a little power gain, and thats about it going to an electric fan. Alternators take horsepower from an engine too.. And besides, there isnt an electric fan i know of that supplies the airflow that a good, working clutch fan can.

Could try a taurus fan. There pretty big.

Any hp gains from ditching the mech fan will be lost in electrical load from the e fan.
