Hoping for some help. Cars a 1988 auto. Just did the headgasket fuel reseal. Drove the car around a bit, first time driving for a good distance noticed a rough idle on deceleraton and stoping, then when acclerated again it would go away when coming to the next stop. Drove the car again yesterday, And the idle was rough once again 300-500 rpm flunctuation but at every stop and on start up. Drove car today and did the same but randomly idles steady at around 1200 rpm proably due to unscrewing the adjustment screw a bit. Car doesnt smoke, car acclerates fine, not boosting, but i did twice without realizing very low if any, does leave vaccum but i try to keep it at or below 0 on the stock gauge. Afrs are fine while crusing and when the idle is steady they are right where it should be. Any help would be appreciated!........Also forgot to mention im getting a code 61 from the tranny. I dont think this has any effect on the idle.
