rough idle help

Hey everyone my car's rpm's jump up and down at idle yet it drives great when in motion only at stops it's almost to the point to where the car about cut's off I'm not sure what the problem could be and this thread is very similar to the 1 under mine I know but I haven't had anything upgraded or anything just a na to turbo swap thanks for yall's help in advance

I don't have an egr it was off when I got the engine it's got the block off plates where the egr use to go I'm pretty sure all the vacume lines are plugged up good

mine did that, i just changed the spark plugs and all is good

yeah well I've replaced the spark plugs aswell even before I put the engine in the car but thanks

my car did the same it was the vac hose below the intake in the center

I too have had this issue and it ended up being the IAC valve getting stuck. Got some spray stuff from my uncle (toyota mechanic) sprayed all inside the TB and all seems fine now.

Spray starter fluid or WD40 around the connectors of your engine while it is idling, you'll be surprised at what you'll find.

are you using the lexus afm or stock afm?
