RIDE OF THE MONTH

RULES

1) Users may submit ONE(1) MK3 per every TWO(2) months.

2) Users MUST submit pertinent information with at least TWO HIGH RESOLUTION pictures. Information should at the LEAST include YEAR, COLOR, TRIM, MODIFICATIONS, RESTORATIONS, ETC. Anything extra will simply be icing on the cake. Please submit your car to rotm@bobiseverywhere.com. Try to keep things well organized as well.

(There now is a form to download fill out and send back with your pictures to make things easy for every one review and applying.)

3) We are looking for OVERALL car. Not neccessarily the fastest or prettiest. IE: A completely stock but well maintained car would most likely be picked over a neglected car with 500hp. We will be selecting cars that BEST represent this community.

4) This will be a MONTHLY thing.

5) Winner will receive:

* One of the submitted high resolution pictures in the header of the website in rotating order.
* A gift certificate to a car related sponsor store or a car related part or accessory.
* A sticky in the General Section showing off the car for the month with any and all pics video and information provided to us.

6) After the month is over the stickied thread will be placed in an Archive for "ROTM" Members.

7) No car can win more then once in a TWELVE(12) month period. That means 12 months 12 different cars.

Submit your Ride today.

So is it worth submitting a work in progress? I read the rules and I've done a lot of work in a few short months and had some solid compliments, but I won't be happy until I get some new paint on her sometime this winter. It's not bad, but the clearcoat is hazy and there's that little dent in the rear quarter panel I hate so much.

I'm not sure it will ever be "done", but I still see a diamond in the rough in spite of the compliments and how proud I am of it. So is it better to wait until she's looking shiney new and I get the last of the nagging little issues taken care of, or could this still be one of the "cars that BEST represent this community" as a work in progress?

Good Question.

Well it's really up to you. If you think your car represents the community quite well and want to show it off, then its worht a try. Worse thing that can happen is that you don't win. Then just enter again after the work is done. It all depends on allot of factors. its is also what car people belive represents the community best out of the applicants that have entered. If the Car is not Running i would not suggest entering. On that same note that does represent a good portion of the community. I don't think its one we want to show off to the world though.
