rhd steering column ?'s

my car has a rhd column in it. my ? is could my car having a rhd column in it be the reason my car will barely turn to the right at all and turn way to much to the left? i mean it turns so far my rack pops. but to the right it will only turn about half as far as it should.

so i guess what im saying is since its from a rhd car that would cause it to turn like this right?:1zhelp:

I don't think so, as far as I know, the column will spin continuously and the rack is preventing it from turning past a certain point.

stick with lhd parts for lhd cars, is all i can figure. if the rack was from a rhd car, wouldn't it be in upside down?

it's like go kart's rear axle were ever side the chain is on that tire will get more power just like your streeing system being on the other side

so if i put a lhd column in it then in theory it should fix it right?

what causes the popping? Is it bad for it? I hvae noticed mine do this on ocassion when turning all the way to the right...
