Rewrapping my steering wheel

It's been a long time since i've posted any progress of my cars but i got a stroke of inspiration last night. This is a work in progress. Soon i'll be adding black suede to the rest of the wheel. What's next is to sand it down a bit and add another layer of resin...then sand...then spray with UV protectant clearcoat. Comments are welcome

Here is an update:

Just finished the second coat of resin to smooth the surface out. just need to wait for it to cure so i can sand the divits out and then spray it with clear. Then it's on to wrapping the rest of the wheel with suede.

Now it has been clearcoated and needing a buff. That can be done after the suede treatment.

Supra469: i tried to IM you but your box is full. I am cutting the suede tonight and will be hand stitching it.
