Roughly a year ago I cleaned up an engine put a felpro gasket and arp head studs and torqued it down. Its been sitting on an engine stand ever since. I got a new supra and the stock engine has been holding up fine. I feel as if everything is running right so far, and now I'm itching to up the boost, but I wouldn't want to unless I put arp studs and torque it into spec. I know I can reuse the studs from the engine on the stand, but what about the gasket? Its never been used.

I wouldn't use it since it has been torqued down it has already been compressed which puts you at higher risk of being prone to failure. What is it like 80$ gets a new one? It's an 80$ worth it.

neh..torque the stock ones down...turn up the boost, then WHEN it blows...swap motors haha.

Yup. Keep an eye on it and run it as is. let us know how much it'll hold and for how long. haha.

If you've already torqued down the head I wouldn't reuse it. MHG? sure. Composite? no.
