Respray

I'm having my passenger door and two front wings fitted this week, and was just wondering, how much would it cost to have them resprayed in standard Toyota Black? Ballpark figure is okay - just a little worried that it'll cost me a LOT of money. Some paintjobs i've heard of here cost upwards of £2000 :aigo:

£2000 is for just exterior, 2-pack & clear coat, on something the size of a Vauxhall Nova (about half the size of a Supra).

Bodyshops are expensive here cause there arent many of them, so they can charge what they want.

I'd brave it myself but alas, lack of workspace, compressor and paintgun...

LGM Auto's at the bottom of my road do good work, but i need them to give me a quote. I'm expecting to pay about £600 for the wings and door.

I havent been to britain, but in your country I think, that it should cost roughly about 1500-2000 pounds.

Remember, in USA its very cheap comparing to europe, even in lithuania normal paint job cost's atleast 2500-3000 dollars so I dont expect it to cost cheaper in such country like UK where prices are insane...

If you say there is so few paint shops there, I guess you are gonna have to take what you can get mate. Just call up a few though dont just get a quote from one. Do some digging, maybe you will find something cheaper. Its always easy to go to the known ones, but hey the more corperate the company, the worse the quality cause the demand is higher and less time for fine details.

You really trust taking your supra, on a ship, in that freezing ocean, to a country like Poland......just to have it painted? I would rather swear my loyalty to Cuba on parliament hill.

Lol - well poland aint far away - although the cost of the ferry, and the fuel to get there would cost as much as getting it done round the corner ;)

Who said anything about fuel!?!? I thought Poland was all downhill from britain, just put it in neutral and rollllllllll. If not, push it. Trust me its worth it rather than spending precious pounds, and losing pounds in weight too.:icon_bigg
