Not sure where to post this, but I want to focus specifically on the MKIII since we all know they have their own special needs (and shops claiming experience with the MKIV are a dime a dozen)...
I'm looking for a reputable performance shop around Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill, NC to tune my MAP-ECU2 and maybe clean up a few minor things with my MKIII build. I'd obviously prefer a place that has solid experience with the 7M, and legit tuning experience (I don't really expect experience directly with MAP-ECU, but someone willing to try).
I'm looking for a shop that goes beyond slapping on a muffler and calling a car a hot rod... My engine is gutted and rebuilt with all new internals (pistons, rods, valves, springs, cams, etc...), so a shop well experienced with tear downs and rebuilds...
Any recommendations?
