In the main fuse box in the engine bay there is the one fuseable link.
Mine is brittle and had broken and the car will not start.

I know you have to pull apart the fuse box because there is a pin holding it in.
How do I remove it?

You shouldn't have to remove the fuse box mate, the fuseable link should be on the main line going to the starter, what other fuse bale link are you talking about?

Once you remove the fuse box, seperate the bottom half from the top. There should be 2 6mm bolts (10mm hex size) holding the fuse in. You can use a 100A fuse to bolt into place of the fusible link.

i just pulled mine out enough so i could undo the two screws on it...

Thats what I thought I could do but I ended up doing what Kckazdude said just with the replacement wire over the 100 amp fuse.

It still wont start, but the alarm works again.
