Rear end LSD Q

For some reason this '90 Auto T doesn't like differentiating rear wheel speed. Like if you turn sharply it makes a noise. mainy in reverse when you have the wheel turned. Do we have to put a friction modifier in b/c of the LSD or not? I have a feeling someone changed the lube and didn't put it in.

Yes, we need friction modifier. Someone probably didn't put it in, and you're getting chatter.

Bingo! chatter! Forgot the word for it. Wheres the best place to get it? Dealership? b/c I know in the GM world people say the dealer LSD modifier is the best.

I use Redline hypoid gear oil for the rear. Works great for me, and its what Toyota recomends.

Actually a lot of people suggest Ford Friction modifier.
