so whats a good way to protect the radiator and still keep good air flow? i pulled the AC so now my radiator is just out there exposed. i have a ton of debry that builds up pretty quick, lots of potentially harmfull junk hitting it.

i plan to go with a nice aluminum radiator soon and dont want it as trashed as my current one.

One way to do it is make a nice sturdy frame that fits in front of anything with cooling fins and cut a pc of stainless steel screen to fit it and use silicone sealer to bond the screen to the frame. That way you can on occasion remove the screen and clean it keeping all the fins clear of road debris.

I agree with suprageezer. A buddy of mine made one for his Monte Carlo but he wasn't thinking and made it fixed. Now he has to unscrew the damn thing and it takes him an hour to take it out and clean it right. Make a track for each side and build a frame that the screen is held in. Then you can slide it in and out like a furnace air filter.
