R154; Bench test??

Okay, so I am bustin'-@$$ and have rebuilt the spare R154 tranny. Getting ready to remove/replace the one that's in the car.

However before I go thru all that, is there a process I an use to run through the gears and test that the rebuilt one will work properly (as much as I can tell on the bench anyways)?
