Hey guys,

I have my 1JZ/R154 sitting in my garage, currently I am pulling the trans off.
Got the trans about an inch or so back from the motor, and it feels as if it is caught up on something?

- obviously all the bolts are out
- slave cyl. is off (If that matters)

It may just be that Im having a brain fart.

I appreciate the input guys!

Thanks,
Sam

could be caught up on the clutch release fork? remove it or if you unbolt your pressure plate from your flywheel you should be good to go

Really want to be removing the pressureplate first, as if you don't pull the tranny out straight, you could easily bend the fingers on the pressureplate because of the throwout bearing assembly.

Good advice.

Like I said, motor was not in-car and thus was relatively easy to pull straight out.
Plus, I am not re-using the old stock clutch/pp
