quick swap question

hey guys,

i don't post much i normally find everything by searching but im in the middle of rebuilding my motor and
decided to go 5 speed while i have the motor and trans out since my goals will exceed the stock auto.

anyways im picking up an r154 and ecu + wiring harness their both from an 88 will all the plugs and stuff be the same as my 88 auto wiring harness other than the plugs for the transmission? and will the ecu work in my car?

you can use your auto computer and harness, itll just have a few extra connectors near the starter.
the od light will flash, until you take out the bulb
The neutral start switch will have to be bypassed or run to the clutch safety switch
reverse lights take minimal wiring to hook up

this is a much easier/cheeper way imo.
