a little birdie told me that somehow they bolt up to a Chevy Small Block. If so, what part? The 7M bellhousing or just the case itself? Wil I be able to use the clutch already on my R154, or do I have to go on another goosechase.

I've got a project I'm going to undertake (it's not a supra, so don't worry LOL) and I need to know this so I can make tranny plans.

I've got it all figured out now, thanks to another little birdie.

I take it if I'm using a GM bellhousing, I also have to use a GM clutch as well, correct?

I'm working on this as well.

Option 1:
advance adapter bellhousing, chevy flywheel, toyota clutch disk, chevy clutch housing

Option 2:
novak adapter, chevy everything else

Both options require a custom pilot bearing. And you have some options on flywheels, clutch sizes, throwout bearings, slave/master cylinders. PM me if you have more questions, I've done several trans swaps now.
