I know there a thread on here that talks about how to check the CEL...for some reason i have no luck finding it ..i forget the terminals that i have to bridge to ge the CEL to flash [i thought it was T&E1] ...Can someone piont me in the right direction..

yea thanxz DRAGGER! Great HElp i had them bridge wrong! duh! ....it gave me Code 31&34 ...anyone wanna educate me on wat the hell that means or show me a link explaining theses codes

the car runs perfect the CEL turned off on its own i dont understand how code 31 and 34 came on for no reason then it just turns off after driving for 10mins ....i drove to work and i notice the car idleing really low and then it would turn off on its own....ill start the car again and it turns on just fine thats when i notice the CEl was on

OKay okay hold on.....The Car runs Fine...Code 31 & 34 is wat i pulled from the CEL....Im Lost right now i know how to pull the codes, i know what they mean but it doesnt make sense why the CEl would come on my car is running like nothing happened..did it fix itself cuz the problem went away lol

Doubt it fixed itself ;)

They may be old codes....you could try clearing them, going for a drive then pulling codes again. But if any pop back up there is something wrong even if your car seems like it's "running fine"...besides didn't you say something about the car idling low and dying?

yea it was idleing low [400-500 RPm} ill give it gas the rpms shot up then as the Rpm drop it would go all the way to zero and die thats when the CEL came on...I turned on the car right away and it fired right up with no probelm, this happened about 3 times back and forth until finally it drove fine and the CEL went away

i know i hit fuel cut in the past plenty of times, so i guess that 34 is old and as for code 31. I don't see why that would come om, i thought if the AFM was bad the car wouldn't run correctly ...Ima go clear the codes and drive around ill get back to u guys thanxz for the help
