quick question : coil packs

if, when at idle, the spark does not consistently ignite as shown with a timing light,

is that a coil pack problem or an ecu problem/ sensor problem



as i was checking the timing again i noticed that on occasion the light would not flash and i would not hear it ignite the cylinder
even with the timing at exactly 10 degrees btdc

maybe its the spark plugs?

it shouldnt be the spark plugs. the timing light flashes when current is running through the wire before it gets the the plug. check the wires and the coil according to the tsrm.
