Just a quick question for you experts out there. I searched for a bit but couldn't come up with anything that would answer my question directly, so here it goes.

I have an 88 NA 5spd gauge cluster... and a tach out of a 88 turbo auto cluster. Now, what would be the best way to go about getting the tach to work.

My way of choice (if it's even possible).. would be to use my 88 na gauge cluster, so I don't have to rewire the volt meter into the turbo one, and take the pcb off the auto tach and use it on my na tach, wich of course would be so I don't have the stupid auto tranny lights on it.

Will that way work or would I be better off rewiring my na tach, or using the turbo cluster and rewire my volt meter into the turbo tach?

Notes: Will an 88 na tach work with an 88 turbo auto tach's pcb, installed in a 88 na gauge cluster in a turbo car.

To make an NA tach compatible with the GTE ignition, change the resistors as shown in the attached figure (From 4cefed.com)

so I can't just switch the pcb off my turbo tach, put it on my na tach and get it to work with my na gauge cluster?
