Quick question about LSD

Hello,
I just received a used 3.91 LSD and have a question. When turning the rear axle plates they only move in the same direction. I cannot turn one forward with the other one spinning the opposite way. I am worried that it may have been welded together like a POSI or something. Is this normal for an LSD? Sorry if I am confusing you guys, but I wanna make sure this isnt welded together before I put it on the Supra.

Its going to be hard to break it loose with out the wheels on. Picture the wheels as a 5 ft breaker bar.

You could always take the cover off and see for sure.

Be good to reseal up the case with toyota orange fipg to make sure it doesnt leak on you.

Thats completely normal of a clutch type LSD
