Okay quick help people, if i quickly crank the car (1jz-gte) and i have the breaker bar on the crank pulley so i can break the bolt. do i do this with or without the timing belt connected?

a good 1/2" impact is still the preferred method, but the breaker bar trick works in a pinch... leave your timing belt on unless you want to risk damaging valves and pistons

ok... what exactly are you doing? trying to get the crank pulley off??? if so. you could just put it in 1st gear, with the e-brake engaged and then break it... a lot less stressful.

i held the flywheel with a big bar and used a breaker bar on the crank. same to tighten it

Im not from florida. I'm from chicago, besides...being hispanic, I have a temper. hehe. no...i'm chill. Just saying it should be locked cause this thread is not going anywhere.
