Quick CPS cleaning question?

I was wondering if there is anything that i could use that wont harm the CPS because i hadnt noticed that the dust cover had broken off and it was very dirty, will it be fine the way it is? or can i clean it with something?

Best thing would be to pull it (mark the pick-up position) and clean with a can of electronics cleaner. Might as well replace the O-ring that seals oil at the head...you'll need a new dust cover and rubber gasket too

I would do that, the cover is like $7 bucks at Champion with the gasket.

Ok thanks guys, yea I have already bought the dustcover and gasket, because like I said the other one had broke off, I just wanted to clean the CPS before I put the cover back on, thanks to all.
