Please no. The factory 3-piece looks damn good. While that other wing may be functional, it also looks like rice.
factory 3 piece looks fantastic, but offers next to no downforce. it ain't rice if its functional ;). seriously though, I want this for track use and don't plan on drilling ugly holes, rather making up mounting brackets to utilise the factory spoiler holes so that this can come off with ease when I am not at the track.

anyway, with the right offset wheels and the right choice of wing, it could look the goods.

Atleast you are going to do it the right way. You make a very valid and good point. Am I correct in assuming you are going to keep the side pieces on while at the track (they're a pain to remove) and then put back on the stock center section after you're done racing for the day?

I would probably remove the side pieces as well I think, otherwise it looks a bit weird. might have to get some bungs and paint them to fill in the holes left from that. I dont have any rear interior so removing those side pods only takes a few minutes. but yeah, nothing worse than a car driving around with the mounting base of a GT wing on the back of it...

You prolly wouldnt even notice the difference. Need to be over 100mph for wings to even really be useful.

the effect depends on the type of race track you are at, the one i'm at has two high speed turns. also your 100 mph figure is exaggerated. anyhow, i dont want to spark a technical debate, just looking for a photoshop if someone can help me out :)
