Questions!: HKS Super AFR ----- Transmission Swap ?

just bought one and need instructions on installation, hks website isnt working
88 7M-GTE


i have a 89 7M-GE and a 88 7m-gte the 88 is automatic and the 89 is manual, possible to put the 89 manual "non turbo" into the 88? if not, why ~ and how do i tell which tranny i got, i believe it might be the turbo model tranny tho but dunno how to tell

I believe it would be simple to check to see which manual trany you have. Just by looking at pictures of the clutch release fork in the TSRM they look completely different. So just hop under the left side of the car pull off the inspection cover and take a look. I'm sure there are other ways but that seems pretty easy to me. As far as engine wise I dont know why you couldnt put one in the other so long as you have the appropriate wiring/ECU. However, there are much more knowledgeable people on here then me so if I am wrong they should be able to sort you out.

Works perfect for me and i can see exact ly how to do everything. Its more than 1 page so might as well just dl adobe and get your instructions cause after you install it your going to need to know how to use it.
