Question on Smoked Lights

I'm curious to hear from anyone thats been involved in a serious accident where someone was injured and the lights not being stock had an impact on lawsuits in court. NO I'm not interested in opinions I have tons of them myself. I just want to know if modifying your lights can impact fault assesment in lawsuit.

Even if you smoke them, your lights say DOT approved on them. How do they know they aren't original?

Talk to a lawyer... Better yet, talk to YOUR lawyer... Each state/city/area has different laws concerning light modifications.. What may be OK in Florida may not be in California... If anyone on here is qualified and willing to give Geezer legal advice, PM him...
