Question about drivers side power window switch

I need a new window switch because the tab is broken off (like every mkiii, lol). My question is, will an 87' window switch work in an 89'+, or will it have a different connector?

Same connector, plug and play, but you're going to need the plastic bezel that fits on the switch (interior colour), because the switches are different heights.
