Question about BOVs

the other day some dude told me that 100% atmospheric bovs are bad because they trick the maf into thinking that there is more air going into the engine than there really is, therefore dumping more fuel, resulting in richness. is this true?

if your running stock AFM then it lets metered air out, resulting in a rich condition because the ECM thinks there's more air than there actually is. If your running MAP based not a problem.

im running the lex/550 combo. i've got a sweet blitz bov, it would suck to get rid of it...but if it's better for the car, i'll do anything.

Just recirculate the air being let out

Post a pic of the Blitz...I don't think you can recirculate the Blitz BOVs though.

FYI I run a HKS SSQV that vents to the atmosphere. The only time the engine stalls is going up an incline and let the gas full off.

Yep, that's what I thought it looked like. Unless you can get a replacement for the vent "horn", you can't recirculate that.

LOL...my ECU handles it pretty well actually...it's rare she stalls. Others are not so lucky

Yah I suppose if you know what it's doing, and why your car occasionally stalls it's not a big deal. But...
