so i' behind but it is worth it. After finding all that rust with a pick hammer i tore out the right side inner arch and patched it. The left side was done by the shop and fixed with the panel i removed from the other car. Now it's time for por 15 and seam sealer then i will have it undercoated.

finally an update... so i decided to wait to assemble the motor as i did not want it sitting around waiting for the car. Finally i got a call last friday morning that the body work was done, so i went to the shop to check it out. The hard work was done and looked good.

Its awesome your putting much heart into doing this right, probably because you have no intentions of letting this car go so easily.
1) What is the benefit of the tranny rear solid mount? Is the engine on poly/solid mounts?
2) Oiling system?
3) To what purpose are you building your beast, a daily capable 1/4 runner?

Thanks,
-Dave

no intentions of letting it go

benefit of the mount is stops excessive movement of the motor and trans, also helping to save my manifold from cracking as there is no flex pipe
the motor mounts are factory puck style mounts. Also the trans mount was new but it broke from the strain in one year of use.

oil system is pretty much stock with a shimmed pump and remote filter with oil cooler 15w-40 oil

as for the purpose 700rwhp daily driver to beat on 15k miles a year. 800 rwhp ++ for drag or street race

thanks for checking it out
